Ref.: New Member of Araucária DX Group PP5SZ

The Araucária DX Group incorporates into its group of active members one more companion from Santa Catarina - Pedro Sirzanink - PP5SZ.

Our friend Pedro Sirzanink - PP5SZ has been an active radio amateur since 1960 and resides in Florianópolis - Santa Catarina having proven outstanding performance in international DX Contesting.

Pedro initiated his radio amateur activities in Rio Grande do Sul with the prefix PY3BHB later to be PY3NS and when he fixed his residence in Santa Catarina his call sign became PP5SZ.

Apart from participating in most of the national contests his principal successful dedication and participation is in WAEDC, CQWW, ARRL, IOTA.

The Group Araucária DX has recently received into her bosom a Group of contest radioamateur´s from Santa Catarina led by our companion Sérgio - PP5JR and with the insertion of our friend Pedro PP5SZ the section of the Araucária DX Group Santa Catarina now counts with the following members:
